I've been affected by a lot of things these last few weeks. My whole artistic view has been changed. Through exploring photography, reuniting with my guitar, through writing and creating, I've defined my place in art a little better.


First things first, photography. As you may have noticed, I've laid off the landscapes to concentrate more on concept pics, which have led me, unknowingly, to discover the human body not only as an element of photography, but also as a centerpiece, a form of art in itself. It has been such a great happening for me to rediscover photography in a whole new style I never knew.

Also, on another note, I am now among that kind of people who not only think, but put their thoughts down on paper. I started doing this recently, and soon filled pages of an old notepad. And I slowly realized that this would be fantastic if I managed to metaphorize all my thoughts about human behavior, our animal instincts influencing our life in society.

I've also been inspired a great deal by books I've read, such as The Great Gatsby by F. Scott. Fitzgerald, or Carson McCuller's The Ballad of the Sad Café, James Joyce, and especially George Orwell... I want to put my thoughts on paper like these great authors did. Not only send out a great message, but also in a very poetic form. I know I don't write as well as them, but I want to send the same message as them. And a real author talked to me about it. He said ''that's the first step''.


Last but not least, I've found another love in my life. I have one already, who loves me back in a complicated but sure way, but I have been unfaithful to my love since I got back together with Layla. My Stratocaster imitation.

For those who still think I'm cheating on my girlfriend, you needn't worry. She's my guitar. When my fingers join her frets, and my hand grasps my pick firmly, I reach this state of mind where I know I'm creating pure magic. I am not such a good guitarist, but being able to translate any thought, feeling or melody to simple fret-pressing and string-strumming brings me to a level of ecstasy never experienced before. Except when I'm with my other love. I finally feel like I can CREATE. Not just imitate or replay. What't better is I feel like I can never get enough, I must always improve on a new lick each time I play it.
